A skilled taper and jointer is expected to know how to:

•work with hand or mechanical tools — such as flat box, internal corner flusher, angle/corner box and compound tube (bazooka)
The drywall finishing trade certification course must include enough evidence to demonstrate that the learner has an obvious understanding of the fundamental Health & Safety aspects of the project. Hence a taper and jointer must show the ability and knowledge of how complete jobs safely, as described in the general site guidelines.
